Around town it is getting 23.5 mpg, on freeway it is getting 29.6 mpg [after my new tuned chip]. I live in the mountains North of Phoenix, so that is an average up and down mountains.
I took the Vette out yesterday for a short trip, about 350 miles. Believe it or not it averaged about 30mpg, that was up and down mountains here in Northern AZ, and a lot of flat land driving, Phoenix, 100 (miles) was freeway, most of it was with A/C on. I could not believe it myself and thought that the gas gauge was stuck. So I stopped and filled it up and it only took 10 gallons.
Interesting tune.

My experience with Solomon was top notch. He has a well oiled process wrapped around clear and professional communications.
I rebuilt my LT1 with a new cam, ported heads & intake, new injectors, shorty headers and exhaust.
With Solomon's tuning procedures, the car runs excellent. I would highly recommend Solomon to other LT1 owners.

Car is home-built over 5 years except paint.
Car came down with tranny problems, my scanner & a shop couldn't scan the PCM. Long story short, contacted one of the biggest fuel-injected late-model motor after-market companies for help. After 10 weeks of horrible communications, delays, high cost and 4 back & forth shipments of my PCM, they were not able to solve my problem.
Contacted Solomon and immediately I was on right path with outstanding communication and technical support. Solomon was able to identify my problem and then fine tuned the car to perfection, all via e-mail.
The car runs like a bear! I can't thank Solomon enough for his time and expertise. The cost was easily worth 3 times what I paid.

Thanks for the help, and the tune. My son, Daniel, is quite pleased.
Throttle response is improved, as well as the engine generally sounding more sharp & crisp. Mileage may be improved slightly, but a good data set for prior mileage does not exist.
We will take advantage of the retune in the near future.

Hey Solomon, just wanted to thank you as the car is running awesome! I'm sure the car is easily making a conservative 25 additional hp after you dialed in the tune.
When I did the math on this $65 for the cable, $70 for the tune = $135. That's $5.40 per hp which is very tough to beat, not to mention the improved drivabilty and MPG.

I had my 96 Camaro tuned by Solomon, and am very impressed with the effort and attention he gave me. He provided several tunes based upon my data logging.
As a result, the Camaro feels like a totally different vehicle - an awakened beast. The shift points, throttle response, and overall power are substantially better. This, despite some issues with my fuel and EVAP systems that Solomon helped me identify.
I look forward to working with Solomon again with my Camaro once I make these repairs.

Hey Solomon, I got my car back together and finally out of the garage. The weather here has been terrible.
I was able to get it out for a good run today and it's working great. Another plus is that my fans are kicking on now when they should be. Before I was having a nightmare of a time getting them to work properly.

Living in a fairly remote area of Australia, there is no one who could tune my '94 Trans Am LT1. I was put onto Solomon through the forums with a helluva lot of recommendations to have him tune my car through email.
This process was totally new to me but with a little computer sense and the clear instructions given, it has gone smoothly with results that would put a horn on a jellyfish.
To say I'm a satisfied international customer is understated, I'm absolutely bloody stoked and even went back for more tuning on the transmission.
I will definitely be back as time and modifications go on and have no hesitation in recommending Solomon's outstanding services to all international LT1/LS1 owners with similar tuning hassles.

My 2000 Corvette had been slightly modified before I bought it, including a K&N intake, Corsa exhaust, and oversized MAF sensor housing.
Solomon kept tuning until we achieved the maximum performance and mileage. There is a noticable improvement in power and my car now regularly gets 37 MPG on the highway. Not bad for a 5.7L 6 speed.
I would recommend his services to anyone desiring maximum performance and efficiency from their LS1.

Hey man, did I ever get with you on this. I gained not only a ton of power but amazing gas mileage.
I'm getting around an extra 3 MPG which really help me alot since gas is right near 4 dollars a gallon for me down here!

Even though I gave you a transplant to deal with, you really came thru for me.
Not too many could take a total transplant consisting of a LT1 motor, an after market wiring harness and an old Cadillac computer and not only make it run but make it run Great!!

All I can say is wow. THAT WAS AMAZING. I honestly no lie can say I firmly believe that added 35 hp and I don't know how much but there is definitely a difference in torque.
I mean it, I wasn't expecting near that much power. You're the man.

I had just a couple things done to my 1997 Z28 A4: catback, intake, and gears. My speedometer was off horribly and I wanted just to get it fixed.
I went to two local shops and neither could tune a '97. So after browsing I found great results with Solomon.
Needless to say... those results are in my Z28. I got my speedo recalibrated and a performance tune, and had no idea just how much a tune could bring a car to life!!! "Completely different." I am extremely happy with the results!

Just a quick note to thank you for the tune on my 94 Z Convertible. After I made the mods (ported heads, intake, CAI and headers) the car ran OK. But once you started to do your magic, every iteration was better and better as you honed in on perfection.
Your patience, as I am kind of a rookie, and tuning knowledge has taken my "Z" to a new level.
I think the service you provide is better then a dyno, since it is using "real" driving conditions. It is also over a longer period of time with various driving conditions, not an hour or so.
I couldn't be happier with the results. If/When I do more mods in the future, you'll be hearing from me for the tune. Thanks again.

The tuning was DEFINITELY worth getting through. I had some mechanical issues--i.e., fuel pressure regulator and O2 sensors that needed to be replaced before we could really get started. My BLMs were way way off.
Solomon knew what components to check and this made the work a lot easier as I just replaced those items and we were off and running. He was very thorough and all together he had me do 7 datalogs and load 5 tunes. The results: My car gets up to 104 mph in the same space where it only got up to 99 mph before. My fuel economy has already improved
3-4 MPG from the tuning and I haven't even checked the mileage on the final tune yet. I'm definitely impressed!!
Solomon really knows this tuning stuff; and, he is a real business professional who gets things done in a timely manner and treats you with extreme dignity and respect.
I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a quality tune at a great price!!

I am very happy with the tune you did for my car. The car only has a few upgrades, but you made it run so much better. I am also impressed about how fast you sent the program.
Before you tuned it, I use to have a surge with driving at slow speeds like in town, when the car was idling you could smell that it was running rich. Also, when I would come to a stop and push in the clutch while the car was still rolling the RPM's would fluctuate for a second, then stabilize.
ALL of these problems are fixed now and I can feel a difference in how smooth the car feels. You did a great job, Solomon. Thanks!

Throttle response from idle was smoother than before, car seemed to hesitate when I tapped the throttle [before]. Now it is smoother. Smooth RPM buildup during entire range.

I got the PCM, put it in, and man does it run great. That car has never run that good in a very long time. I couldn't believe how smooth it sounds and how the car is not so rich that it makes you cry.
The tune is great, I can't think of any thing that I could have you change on it, I like it the way it is. And trust me, I will have you do all my tunes as long as you are doing this cause man you know what you are doing.

The weather finally cleared and I took the car for a spin with the new[est] tune.

I took the car for a ride today, and I could feel the difference in the car's response, acceleration, and idle. Those SVO fuel injectors really do make a difference. I had the car up to 6000 RPMs with no problems whatsoever... don't worry Solomon, I'm a retired PO, and I was taught how to handle a vehicle at high speeds.

My car is night and day different from when we first started tuning. I can tell you really know your stuff.
It feels like a different car, like it is making great power all around. Before it kinda fumbled from a stop to WOT. Now when I get on it from a stop it makes great power.
I thought it was fast before, but was I wrong. Corvette owners better be on the look out for my T/A.

At first I didn't think my L99 was even worth getting a tune, because it's only a 4.3L version of the LT1, and there's no replacement for displacement. But, in the end I decided it was worth a shot, because my car had so many problems and always so weak, I felt it deserved a shot to impress before I just replaced the motor.
I heard so much about Solomon's tunes, that I felt he would be the right person to tune the car. I had been in contact with him for a while prior to ordering the tune, kind of preparing for it and stuff. Then just a couple days ago I felt the time was right. Ordered the tune, and the first tune came in nearly only a couple hours later in an email. I loaded the tune and immediately felt a difference. Throttle response increased, shift points were much nicer and aggressive, including the firmness.
I had the timing increased even more manually, removing all spark retard from my PCM (as I have a faulty knock sensor circuit), and going "old school" on the timing, now it's zero spark retard, very advanced, and running top notch.
Dude, you are the BEST. That car pulled out like my friend's LT1 camaro, which is oddly surprising, because I never knew the L99 could do so well. I pulled onto the highway and didn't even gun it, and went from 0 to 55 in no more than 4 seconds...

I was looking to have the EGR and AIR deleted on my '95 Z28 and was absolutely surprised that Solomon was also able to help with another issue I was having [stutter on the highway]. I thought I was going to have to visit a dyno but this was all accomplished through data-logging and customized tunes.
Solomon was in contact with me from the moment the package arrived until the final tune. I really appreciated the excellent customer service. I would recommend him to anyone, he was able to create a tune specific for my '95 Z28 and it runs better than ever.
The car runs smoother than ever and at idle, in gear at 650rpm, it no longer misses. I wasn't looking for performance increase, just to delete the egr/air and to fix the AFR so the stuttering would stop. The vehicle's driveability has improved dramatically. You exceeded the expectations.

Man, what an improvement Solomon [over a previous tuner's tune]! I got the injectors and the PCM today and put them both in the car. It fired right up and idles the best it has in forever.
The roads here are really wet from all the rain we're getting so I couldn't do much more than take it for a short cruise. I can't believe the difference in driveability. I had a slight cam surge in OD before your tune and now that is gone. The tranny changes like it's a new one. The pickup it has even at part throttle is just great. Just on the short drive I can tell already the gas mileage is going to go up a lot.
I'm one happy man! You have no idea how glad I am to have gotten it touch with you! I can't wait until this Saturday to get it on the dyno to really see what it has (UPDATE: 337rwhp / 330rwtq, SAE corrected).
UPDATE: 1/4 mile time: 12.4 @ 110 MPH.

I think you should charge more (help you get those heads done sooner [my Z28 overheated in summer of '08 and I haven't had enough to fix it yet]). From what you mention on your website I assumed you were independently wealthy somehow [I'm not]. I've heard that some other tuners command up to $300 for a similar service. This is the best automotive bargain I know of.
There was a lot more to the process than I expected. I figured for a bone stock application there would just be a few standard tweaks you'd include other than the basic fan settings, shift points, and speedo correction stuff. I ended up making around six logs and installed five [updated] "tunes" to get things just right. I was impressed by the detail of the work involved and the speed of your correspondence.
As a result of the tuning process and your consultation I learned more about my car and discovered and addressed issues that may not have received attention otherwise.
I hope I have an opportunity in the future for another tuning session.

I recently built a 96 Z28 LT1. I used a bunch of good parts, excellent machine work, and years of experience. It ran OK on the stock tune but I bought a popular hand held programmer to see what I could gain. It was an improvement but still lacking. I tried a Jet DST and it was great! I just didn't know what I was looking at.
I purchased a tune from Solomon and installed it with the Jet Flash utility. I was amazed! I took it through the gears and got out of it around 160 MPH! It was still pumping hard, if the converter had locked up it would probably go 185 or so! Solomon's service is exceptional as is his knowledge of the OBD II workings. I WILL recommend him to my friends, and keep working on my toy!

I downloaded the tune and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! What a huge difference!!! 10,000 times better than it was [from a previous "tuner"]!!! You are a genius at this!
Part throttle and idling is so much better, and idles so smooth! I punched it a couple times and hit 110mph very quick!
Shift points are great especially coming out of lockup and rolling into the throttle. And firmness is perfect.

I got my '97 emission tested yesterday. The emission people were taking a long time with the car, and a lot of them were conferring. They were going over the engine and looking under the car over and over.
I finally had to ask what the problem was, and they said the car was too clean! They hadn't seen a car like that with such low emissions!

Wow, what a difference since you tuned my PCM!
My 97 WS6 Ram Air Trans Am is screaming now! I didn't even know my car would move that fast! I don't know what you did, but it's hard not to burn rubber now. When I pulled out of the parking lot at work today, the rear tires were smoking!
The shifting adjustments you made are awesome! It still shifts normally when I'm driving like a grandma, but when I tromp on it to race somebody the car seems to know that I want to hold out for higher RPM's in each gear!

I'm the kind of guy that likes to have full control over my vehicles and their performance, but I made a wise decision trusting your years of experience in tuning PCMs, and I still feel like I'm in control because I went to the best, I got the best, at the best price out there!
[Before the tune,] I would have to say I was getting around 14 to 15 mpg or less. It just ate gas. Now [after the tune] it is a very slow drain, a VERY noticeable difference on how slow that gas gauge goes down. I'm getting about 19 mpg even with my aggressive driving.
I know you offered me a free adjustment tune if tweaking was needed, but everything is perfect, and I don't think I'll need it.
By the way, I'm also the director of the Bandit Trans Am Club. So, I know Trans Ams!

and ran my best on motor with the [latest] tune: 12.99@103.78, 1.71 60 foot. Where you were thinking the trans was slipping, I put some Lucas trans treatment in it and it helped it! The car now runs 13.0s repeatedly.

Actually man, every time I drive it I am more impressed. The part throttle and WOT acceleration is great.
I took a friend out for a ride, got on it up to a lil over 100, and he said he hasn't felt a rush like that since his dad's '98 Cobra that was totally sick. And his dad has a nice '99 Cobra now, and he drives a really fast 306 convertible Mustang!

Between LT1 PCM Tuning and myself, my Formula LT1 is running great. He got me my tune quick and has worked with me to fine tune it.
I would have never guessed that there are so many things that I have control over my car and things you can do to get it to run at its peak performance.

I had no idea how much difference the computer tuning would make to my horsepower numbers until I was nearing completion on my first LT1 383 build. These motors have so much potential, and with a good tune, you can dial them in and make sure that your car is the King of the Road.
Thus far, I have been working with Solomon when it comes to tuning my computer. When I finished the build, the computer had no idea what to do with all of those mods, but with Solomon's expertise, we have changed my "mild" 383 build from a slug to a sledgehammer.
He did all of this for less than one fourth the cost of a good camshaft. Now that is a good investment. Instead of spending all of my time trying to figure out a million different possible adjustments, I have tapped into Solomon's wealth of knowledge so that I can spend all of my time enjoying the exciting ride that my car now provides.
In addition to the great service that Solomon provides, he genuinely cares for the people he works with. I would highly recommend Solomon's service to anyone who really wants their car to perform, yet doesn't want to spend years getting it to that point.
Thus far, I have been working with Solomon when it comes to tuning my computer. When I finished the build, the computer had no idea what to do with all of those mods, but with Solomon's expertise, we have changed my "mild" 383 build from a slug to a sledgehammer.
He did all of this for less than one fourth the cost of a good camshaft. Now that is a good investment. Instead of spending all of my time trying to figure out a million different possible adjustments, I have tapped into Solomon's wealth of knowledge so that I can spend all of my time enjoying the exciting ride that my car now provides.
In addition to the great service that Solomon provides, he genuinely cares for the people he works with. I would highly recommend Solomon's service to anyone who really wants their car to perform, yet doesn't want to spend years getting it to that point.

Following a fairly major upgrade to my stock LT1 Trans Am (cam, heads, injectors, MAF, headers, etc) I was in need of a custom tune. I found Solomon on the internet and from my initial inquiry to the final tune Solomon provided a first class service.
As we progressed through the process of unlocking the power in the engine each tune he sent me would register on my "seat of the pants" dyno and the logs backed it up. He turns around logs with a new tune in a matter of hours and his knowledge, both mechanical and as a tuner, are very impressive.
The HP and torque figures on the final tunes (375 rwhp / 400 rwtq) are proof of what he can do and I would recommend to any enthusiast out there if you're looking for a tune and a tuner, look no further.
Above all of this though is his friendliness and wanting to get the best out of your car for you.

I have been driving that 4.3L L99 Caprice car you tuned and my gas mileage is way, way better. I am actually getting over 30mpg on the highway now. My last tank average was at 29mpg. The power level is about the same but the mileage is incredible for a 4,000 plus pound car.
