I took the car for a ride today, and I could feel the difference in the car's response, acceleration, and idle. Those SVO fuel injectors really do make a difference. I had the car up to 6000 RPMs with no problems whatsoever... don't worry Solomon, I'm a retired PO, and I was taught how to handle a vehicle at high speeds.

At first I didn't think my L99 was even worth getting a tune, because it's only a 4.3L version of the LT1, and there's no replacement for displacement. But, in the end I decided it was worth a shot, because my car had so many problems and always so weak, I felt it deserved a shot to impress before I just replaced the motor.

I heard so much about Solomon's tunes, that I felt he would be the right person to tune the car. I had been in contact with him for a while prior to ordering the tune, kind of preparing for it and stuff. Then just a couple days ago I felt the time was right. Ordered the tune, and the first tune came in nearly only a couple hours later in an email. I loaded the tune and immediately felt a difference. Throttle response increased, shift points were much nicer and aggressive, including the firmness.

I had the timing increased even more manually, removing all spark retard from my PCM (as I have a faulty knock sensor circuit), and going "old school" on the timing, now it's zero spark retard, very advanced, and running top notch.

Dude, you are the BEST. That car pulled out like my friend's LT1 camaro, which is oddly surprising, because I never knew the L99 could do so well. I pulled onto the highway and didn't even gun it, and went from 0 to 55 in no more than 4 seconds...

AWESOME tune man! Thank you so much. Best 65 bucks ever spent on this car bar none.

I was looking to have the EGR and AIR deleted on my '95 Z28 and was absolutely surprised that Solomon was also able to help with another issue I was having [stutter on the highway]. I thought I was going to have to visit a dyno but this was all accomplished through data-logging and customized tunes.

Solomon was in contact with me from the moment the package arrived until the final tune. I really appreciated the excellent customer service. I would recommend him to anyone, he was able to create a tune specific for my '95 Z28 and it runs better than ever.

The car runs smoother than ever and at idle, in gear at 650rpm, it no longer misses. I wasn't looking for performance increase, just to delete the egr/air and to fix the AFR so the stuttering would stop. The vehicle's driveability has improved dramatically. You exceeded the expectations.

In addition to the Z28, I also have a 2007 Mustang and you must purchase an expensive hand held tuner and the tunes that you receive from on line tuning shops are cookie cutter tunes. Solomon has you capture data specific to your vehicle and creates a tune custom for your car. He does that for less than 1/2 the price of the vendors I have used for my Mustang.

Do you have any idea how good you are?

Man, what an improvement Solomon [over a previous tuner's tune]! I got the injectors and the PCM today and put them both in the car. It fired right up and idles the best it has in forever.

The roads here are really wet from all the rain we're getting so I couldn't do much more than take it for a short cruise. I can't believe the difference in driveability. I had a slight cam surge in OD before your tune and now that is gone. The tranny changes like it's a new one. The pickup it has even at part throttle is just great. Just on the short drive I can tell already the gas mileage is going to go up a lot (UPDATE: 27 MPG highway).

I'm one happy man! You have no idea how glad I am to have gotten it touch with you! I can't wait until this Saturday to get it on the dyno to really see what it has (UPDATE: 337rwhp / 330rwtq, SAE corrected).

UPDATE: 1/4 mile time: 12.4 @ 110 MPH.

I just don't know how I can thank you other than to send as much business your way as I possibly can and I've already started doing that.

I think you should charge more (help you get those heads done sooner [my Z28 overheated in summer of '08 and I haven't had enough to fix it yet]). From what you mention on your website I assumed you were independently wealthy somehow [I'm not]. I've heard that some other tuners command up to $300 for a similar service. This is the best automotive bargain I know of.

There was a lot more to the process than I expected. I figured for a bone stock application there would just be a few standard tweaks you'd include other than the basic fan settings, shift points, and speedo correction stuff. I ended up making around six logs and installed five [updated] "tunes" to get things just right. I was impressed by the detail of the work involved and the speed of your correspondence.

As a result of the tuning process and your consultation I learned more about my car and discovered and addressed issues that may not have received attention otherwise.

I hope I have an opportunity in the future for another tuning session.

I recently built a 96 Z28 LT1. I used a bunch of good parts, excellent machine work, and years of experience. It ran OK on the stock tune but I bought a popular hand held programmer to see what I could gain. It was an improvement but still lacking. I tried a Jet DST and it was great! I just didn't know what I was looking at.

I purchased a tune from Solomon and installed it with the Jet Flash utility. I was amazed! I took it through the gears and got out of it around 160 MPH! It was still pumping hard, if the converter had locked up it would probably go 185 or so! Solomon's service is exceptional as is his knowledge of the OBD II workings. I WILL recommend him to my friends, and keep working on my toy!

I downloaded the tune and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! What a huge difference!!! 10,000 times better than it was [from a previous "tuner"]!!! You are a genius at this!

Part throttle and idling is so much better, and idles so smooth! I punched it a couple times and hit 110mph very quick!

Shift points are great especially coming out of lockup and rolling into the throttle. And firmness is perfect.

I got my '97 emission tested yesterday. The emission people were taking a long time with the car, and a lot of them were conferring. They were going over the engine and looking under the car over and over.

Wow, what a difference since you tuned my PCM!

My 97 WS6 Ram Air Trans Am is screaming now! I didn't even know my car would move that fast! I don't know what you did, but it's hard not to burn rubber now. When I pulled out of the parking lot at work today, the rear tires were smoking!

The shifting adjustments you made are awesome! It still shifts normally when I'm driving like a grandma, but when I tromp on it to race somebody the car seems to know that I want to hold out for higher RPM's in each gear!

Awesome job Solomon! I'm glad I didn't waste my time and money trying to do that myself. There's like 500 settings you can monkey with, and I wouldn't have a clue where to start.

I'm the kind of guy that likes to have full control over my vehicles and their performance, but I made a wise decision trusting your years of experience in tuning PCMs, and I still feel like I'm in control because I went to the best, I got the best, at the best price out there!

[Before the tune,] I would have to say I was getting around 14 to 15 mpg or less. It just ate gas. Now [after the tune] it is a very slow drain, a VERY noticeable difference on how slow that gas gauge goes down. I'm getting about 19 mpg even with my aggressive driving.

I know you offered me a free adjustment tune if tweaking was needed, but everything is perfect, and I don't think I'll need it.

By the way, I'm also the director of the Bandit Trans Am Club. So, I know Trans Ams!

I have a little monster LT1 that I bought a couple years ago. It was moderately built and running consistent mid 13's. That first winter I garaged it and sunk a lot of money. Anticipating 12's the next racing season I was soon disappointed only to be in the mid to low 13's.

Bottom line. The computer didn’t know what to do with all that stuff. It wasn't until I ventured across Solomon’s web site that I was happy again. After ordering a tune, he did his magic that he does so well and got me quickly into the 12's with the possibility of high 11's on the horizon.

Solomon is a wonderful guy to work with and has an endless wealth of knowledge when it comes to these types of cars.

I had no idea how much difference the computer tuning would make to my horsepower numbers until I was nearing completion on my first LT1 383 build. These motors have so much potential, and with a good tune, you can dial them in and make sure that your car is the King of the Road.

Thus far, I have been working with Solomon when it comes to tuning my computer. When I finished the build, the computer had no idea what to do with all of those mods, but with Solomon's expertise, we have changed my "mild" 383 build from a slug to a sledgehammer.

He did all of this for less than one fourth the cost of a good camshaft. Now that is a good investment. Instead of spending all of my time trying to figure out a million different possible adjustments, I have tapped into Solomon's wealth of knowledge so that I can spend all of my time enjoying the exciting ride that my car now provides.

Following a fairly major upgrade to my stock LT1 Trans Am (cam, heads, injectors, MAF, headers, etc) I was in need of a custom tune. I found Solomon on the internet and from my initial inquiry to the final tune Solomon provided a first class service.

As we progressed through the process of unlocking the power in the engine each tune he sent me would register on my "seat of the pants" dyno and the logs backed it up. He turns around logs with a new tune in a matter of hours and his knowledge, both mechanical and as a tuner, are very impressive.

The HP and torque figures on the final tunes (375 rwhp / 400 rwtq) are proof of what he can do and I would recommend to any enthusiast out there if you're looking for a tune and a tuner, look no further.

I have been driving that 4.3L L99 Caprice car you tuned and my gas mileage is way, way better. I am actually getting over 30mpg on the highway now. My last tank average was at 29mpg. The power level is about the same but the mileage is incredible for a 4,000 plus pound car.
